Nursery Reveal
Preparing for baby comes in many different forms... and creating a special room for baby is definitely one of my favorite parts of the process. I loved creating this space for my second little girl. I definitely went all the way girly with this nursery as opposed to my normal gender neutral slant.
I purchased the name sign and the wall flower stickers from Etsy, and I was SO pleasantly surprised with the how they turned out. My husband said, and I quote, "I am very impressed with the quality of this product" while applying the wall stickers. My husband- dirtbike, hunting, fishing, man's man- was impressed with the peony wall stickers from Etsy. That is hands down the highest compliment an Etsy seller could receive.
Our crib, my wonderful friend gifted us, was re-stained a dark brown and gave off a mid-century modern feel. I rounded off the vintage theme with a few true vintage books from our baby's Great Grammy Jayne (who she is also named after) and some glass and wooden decor. The dresser is Ikea but with stained wooden knobs from Home Depot. With pink Target ruffle curtains and some Hobby Lobby and Tuesday Morning small additions, we finished off our affordable yet adorable baby girl nursery!
I can't wait to fill this room with all things baby including the long nights, stinky diapers, and baby cries. I love having such a special place to experience the preciousness of new life. I am looking forward to time slowing down in this nursery with my new girl!
